Sympathetic Restoration and Refurbishment of Grade II Listed Jacobean Estate

Project Outline

The project was the Sympathetic Restoration and Refurbishment of the Main House, Staff Gatehouse, Staff Cottages, Workshop,

Conversion of the Stable Block to house a Gym, Cinema and Shower Room the Garage Block and Greenhouses.

The project comprised of the complete refurbishment of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Installations to all of the buildings on this Grade II Listed Jacobean Estate

The M&E Services included the provision of new oil storage tanks and oil fired boilers for the main house, LPG  Gas installation and LPG fired boilers for the staff cottages. Standby Electricity Generation Facilities, new electrical switch-gear and distribution system

The Main house and converted stable block were provided, with lighting controls, fire alarms, security and CCTV system, conventional  low pressure hot water  oil fired heating—Radiators & Underfloor, domestic water services including water booster terrestrial TV/FM aerial system, along, satellite television, bespoke custom inbuilt entertainment systems.

  • Full M&E Design, Onsite Supervision ,
  • Witnessing of  Testing & Commissioning  
  • review of Record Drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manuals
